Background

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has announced a strategic collaboration with DAWI, a prominent digital healthcare platform in Kuwait, to expand cross-border access to advanced medical services. The partnership marks a major step in connecting patients in Kuwait with specialised, high-quality healthcare delivered in Abu Dhabi.

Through this partnership, DAWI users in Kuwait will gain access to internationally recognised physicians, advanced medical infrastructure, and patient-focused care of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The partnership combines the hospital’s clinical expertise with DAWI’s digital health ecosystem, allowing patients to explore, book and manage healthcare services more easily across borders.

Dr Georges-Pascal Haber, Chief Executive Officer of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, said the partnership reflects the hospital’s commitment to making specialised healthcare more accessible beyond national boundaries. He noted that the collaboration challenges the idea that geography should limit access to world-class medical care, while also expanding the hospital’s regional reach without compromising clinical standards.

DAWI Chief Executive Officer Bader Shishtari described the collaboration as a key milestone in the platform’s regional growth. He said the partnership with a globally recognised hospital strengthens DAWI’s mission to offer reliable and high-quality healthcare options to its users.

In its first phase, the partnership will introduce comprehensive Executive Health Programme packages. Under the agreement, DAWI will act as the exclusive digital partner for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Executive Health Programme in Kuwait. Users will be able to search for services, schedule appointments and manage their healthcare journey through the DAWI platform.

Both organisations said future phases of the partnership are expected to include additional medical specialties and services. The collaboration reflects a shared goal to redefine how healthcare is delivered across borders and to build a scalable, digital-first model that improves healthcare outcomes across the Middle East.
