Dubai, UAE — Some initiatives begin with an idea. Others begin with a personal story, a family experience, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Miss Pink was born from the heart. Created by Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Founder of Woman Business Circle (WBC), the initiative is dedicated to breast cancer awareness, education, and survivor empowerment, bringing communities together through compassion, knowledge, encouragement, and solidarity.
For Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani, this mission is deeply personal. Having witnessed cancer affect several members of her own family, including her beloved mother, she understands that behind every diagnosis is a woman, a family, and a journey that deserves compassion, dignity, and support. This experience inspired her to transform concern into action and hope into a shared responsibility.
A Mission Built on Four Pillars
The initiative focuses on four essential pillars: awareness, education, solidarity, and empowerment and hope. These guide its efforts to encourage conversations about breast health, connect communities with reliable information, support women and families affected by cancer, and celebrate courage and resilience.
Through education and community engagement, Miss Pink encourages women to discuss breast health openly, learn about screening options, and seek professional medical advice. It also highlights the importance of reliable guidance from qualified healthcare professionals to help women make informed decisions about their health.
Bringing Communities Together
Through previous initiatives and community gatherings, the initiative has brought together doctors, speakers, artists, business leaders, ambassadors, and supporters around a shared purpose. Every conversation, contribution, artistic performance, and act of kindness can help create a more compassionate and informed society.
Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani believes awareness should not be limited to one month, event, or campaign. It must become part of everyday conversations, community engagement, and collective responsibility.
Expanding the Miss Pink Campaign
Building on its previous initiatives, this awareness effort is preparing a broader awareness and educational campaign. The vision is to encourage collaboration with medical professionals, healthcare organisations, corporate partners, media representatives, artists, women leaders, and community organisations.
The campaign aims to promote breast health awareness, encourage informed conversations about screening and early detection, share educational resources from qualified professionals, and create opportunities for women and families to find encouragement and support.
The initiative welcomes organisations, doctors, sponsors, volunteers, media partners, and individuals who share its vision to contribute to this mission.
A Message from the Founder
“Miss Pink is more than an initiative. It is a message of love, courage, and solidarity.
Cancer has touched my own family, and that experience reminded me how important it is to stand beside one another during life’s most difficult moments.
I created the initiative to honour the women who are fighting, to remember those we have lost, to support families who carry this journey together, and to remind every woman that she deserves compassion, dignity, and hope.
We may not all be doctors, but each of us can contribute through awareness, education, kindness, and action.
My dream is for Miss Pink to become a continuing movement that brings people together, raises awareness, and transforms solidarity into meaningful impact.”
Miss Pink – Honouring Her Courage. Celebrating Her Strength. Inspiring Hope.
