Background
Healthcare London has signed a major partnership with CF (Carnall Farrar) to boost UK–Saudi healthcare cooperation and give Saudi patients better access to London’s top medical services. This agreement strengthens the long-standing ties between the two countries and directly supports Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to create a world-class healthcare system using global partnerships and advanced medical expertise.
Healthcare London will work closely with CF to build clinical partnerships, set up referral pathways, and create training programs that help Saudi patients access specialized and complex treatments in London more easily. The initiative also aims to encourage two-way knowledge exchange and support long-term system improvement in the Kingdom.
Dr Joud Abduljawad, Partner and Chief Medical Officer at CF Middle East, said the partnership represents an important step in expanding patient access to world-class care. He noted that the initiative will strengthen the strategic relationship between the UK and Saudi Arabia’s healthcare systems while supporting shared objectives for better clinical outcomes.
At first, the partnership will set up clear referral pathways so eligible Saudi patients can get advanced care in London. Later, it will introduce shared protocols, clinical training, and educational exchanges to help build long-term healthcare capacity in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking on behalf of Healthcare London, David Hare MBE described the collaboration as a key milestone in expanding the group’s presence across Saudi Arabia. He said the partnership will help London maintain its position as a global hub of medical excellence while supporting Saudi Arabia’s health transformation agenda.
Healthcare London, launched at the Health Tourism Future Forum in Riyadh in 2024, brings together top private providers and NHS teaching hospitals to promote London’s healthcare ecosystem internationally. The organisation continues to deepen partnerships across the region as part of its global strategy.
