Saudi Arabia’s drug regulator has given QT Imaging’s Breast Acoustic CT scanner the green light, letting the company market, sell and roll out the device across the Kingdom, one of the biggest healthcare markets in the Middle East.
The clearance builds on QT Imaging’s push into international markets and adds weight to its growing presence in the Gulf. The company had already signed an exclusive distribution deal with Gulf Medical Co., a top healthcare technology supplier in Saudi Arabia, back in August 2025. That partner can now start commercial work and reach out to hospitals and clinics across the country.
Satrajit Misra, QT Imaging’s Chief Commercial Officer, described the clearance as a major win for the company and a meaningful step forward in its global rollout plans.
He pointed to Saudi Arabia as one of the region’s strongest healthcare markets and said the approval opens the door for commercial deployment alongside Gulf Medical, putting the company’s radiation-free, compression-free 3D breast imaging tool within reach of women across the Kingdom.
He also noted the milestone shows the company can work through complex international regulatory systems, setting it up for further growth in the Middle East and beyond.

Having already secured approval in the United Arab Emirates, QT Imaging now holds regulatory clearance in the Gulf’s two biggest healthcare markets, giving it a solid base to build from.
