His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, on Tuesday visited the headquarters of Dubai Health to review its strategic projects and ongoing initiatives.
The visit was attended by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Health Board of Directors; and His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of the Board.
During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed on Dubai Health’s integrated academic health system, which brings together patient care, medical education, research, and community support. The model aims to strengthen healthcare outcomes while advancing innovation and scientific excellence across the emirate.
His Highness emphasised that health is a fundamental pillar of community prosperity in Dubai. He noted that Dubai Health plays a vital role in supporting the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 by delivering high-quality healthcare services rooted in science, innovation, prevention, and treatment, in line with international standards.
Sheikh Hamdan also praised the dedication of Dubai Health’s workforce, recognising their commitment to serving patients and families. He highlighted the long-term ambition for Dubai Health to emerge as one of the world’s leading academic health systems.
As part of the visit, His Highness toured the Health Operations Centre, where he reviewed a range of community-based and digital healthcare programmes.
