Background
World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai, formerly known as Arab Health, will launch in a new format at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City. It will take place from February 9 to 12, 2026. The rebranded event will be larger, attract more participants from around the world, and involve more industries. This shows Dubai’s growing role as a global healthcare hub.
Several top UAE health authorities will take part in the event, strengthening its role as an important platform for healthcare policy talks and collaboration. These include the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Dubai Health Authority, Department of Health Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Health Authority, Dubai Health, Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Emirates Health Services, Emirates Council for Integrative Medicine, and the Emirates Drug Establishment.
Organisers said the strong government presence highlights WHX Dubai’s growing importance in shaping healthcare strategy and public–private partnerships in the region.
The event has expanded by 15 percent year on year and is expected to host around 4,300 exhibitors and attract an estimated 235,000 professional visits. Attendees are expected from more than 180 countries. A total of 32 country pavilions have been confirmed, with Slovakia, Thailand and Croatia participating for the first time. Countries such as China, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Korea will also increase their presence.
Global healthcare brands, including GE Healthcare, Siemens, Philips, Canon and United Imaging, will feature prominently on the exhibition floor.
According to Ross Williams, Commercial Director at Informa Markets Healthcare, the move to Expo City allows WHX Dubai to host an unprecedented level of participation. He said the engagement from UAE health authorities underlines the event’s strategic value for healthcare leadership.
New additions include three content stages focused on transformation, science, and leadership, along with the WHX Deep Dive Series for executive and hands-on learning. CME-accredited conferences will also run alongside the exhibition.
WHX Dubai will be co-located with WHX Labs Dubai, together forming what organisers describe as the world’s largest healthcare event.
